Fish-shaped balloon dominates the scene. It rests afloat in a park, its patchwork body, oversized green eye, purple mouth, and red dorsal fin visible. Trees and pedestrians frame the setting.

Lake Erie Lady

Lake Erie Lady is the title of this public art installation sculpture by Erie, Pennsylvania artist Mary Pat Lynch. Lynch used WEST SYSTEM® Epoxy to apply layers of designer fabrics to the fiberglass fish. The project was sealed with epoxy and then coated with an anti-graffiti lacquer.

The “GoFish!©”art project took place in the summer of 2001 in Erie, Pennsylvania. Over 75 fiberglass fish were displayed downtown after their transformation by local and regional artists.

A large, colorful circular wheel is being worked on by a gloved woman, who holds a tool against its edge. She sits in a cluttered workshop with boxes and supplies. Text in image: No clearly legible text. Circular sculpture mounted on a pole atop a wooden base outdoors is sprayed by an older man in a white T-shirt; it is covered in bright fabric with red top.
